Sitting around the beading table, the conversation turned to "bucket lists". I said my number one goal is to get to Paris, the most romantic city in the world. I must admit that my current mindset is one of romance, and I just felt the need to create something using shades of pink. Janice’s Color Study Project has long been a favorite, and I decided that this would be a great time to make my own using beautiful pinks, pearls and gold. Using the handout, I began working on what can only be called a “travail d’amour” or labor of love. I did deviate slightly from the original pattern by including Czech Pyramids and creating a slightly narrower first wrap but I feel the making of it, with my own spin on it, gets me a few steps closer to my dream of Paris.
