Spring is all about rebirth...and this project is no exception! Bringing back a project from over ten years ago: Stackable Ladder. These are easy, quick, and make a mix-and-match set that you can easily add to. We've kept the formula just about the same: three bracelets, all traditionally laddered with 6/0 Miyukis.

The first is a color blocked double-wrap, laddering a wrap of 3-across 6/0s followed by a wrap of 2-across 6/0s.
The second is a wider cuff, pebbling all colors of 6/0s, tapering from one bead to 7-across, then tapering back down again.

The third is a patterned single-wrap. Original Stackable Ladders used a diagonal design, but in the spirit of Spring, Drea opted for florals.

Drea wanted to stay true to the original design but with a few twists...first, switching out C-Lon for Hemp. You won't want to go smaller than a 6/0 for laddering with the hemp cord, these fit two passes just right. Don't like Hemp? Use C-Lon! It's entirely up to you, of course! Either way, use glue to make self-needles at the ends of your cords for easier laddering.

The second switch? Macramé instead of silk wraps...why? Drea just doesn't like to silk wrap--but you do you!!

Finally, Drea decided to taper her widest wrap more slowly. The original samples start with one bead, then three beads, then five beads, then seven. Drea just didn't like it! So, adding one bead per row at a time smoothes out any bumps and made for easier laddering. Do you like the look of the shorter taper? By all means, do it your way!!
