Project and Sample by Janice Parsons

Paperclip chain makes a statement on its own...but add beads and WOW! Janice knew just what she wanted to create when she got her hands on this sleek new style of chain...a Y Necklace with impact! Literally dripping with beauty, this necklace is sure to be a favorite.

Ingredient Notes:
*You’ll only be using the bar side of your toggle, not the hoop!

**Take note of head pin quantities. The last line of copy on all product pages lets you know how many items come in a package. Most come in packages of 20, some come in packages of 10! Make sure you’re buying enough to complete the project.

Design Notes: Janice added beads to six links of the chain to create a cascade of drops. As always, you do you! Add as much or as little as you like, and adjust the overall length to your liking! Janice made "bundles" of drops, adding 2 bundles to each link of chain. Each bundle is made of 2 smooth drops and 1 faceted drop all on one jump ring. Attach each bundle to the chain using the same jump ring.
Attach the toggle bar to the last link of chain using a Jump Ring. You’ll be using a link of the chain above your beadwork as your hoop for the toggle bar. You may need to widen that link just a tad. Use your chain nose and bent nose pliers to carefully widen the first link of chain without beads on it, just enough to enable the toggle bar to fit through.
